The Ripple Effect blog welcomes submissions of writing and visual art from the GCY community.
Please review the guidelines below before submitting your work to Clare Magneson.
Written materials:
- Submissions should be directly connected to the GCY experience
- Any genre (poetry, fiction, non-fiction) will be considered
- Posts will be edited as necessary for grammar and length considerations
- If possible and relevant, include one or more photos to enhance the post (JPG or PNG format). Please include the photographer’s full name so that we may appropriately credit them.
Visual art:
- Submissions should be directly connected to the GCY experience
- Any genre (photography, painting, block print, etc) will be considered
Submissions should:
- Include a (maximum) two-sentence author/artist bio.
- Include a clear headshot in JPG or PNG format.
- Be submitted as a Microsoft Word or Google document (written work).
- Be submitted via Google Drive or Dropbox (visual work).
Please note that as a 501(c)(3) organization, we do not offer compensation for submissions at this time.
