Applying to a Grand Canyon Youth program is a four-step process.

1—Submit a program interest form.

You can do this online or download a form and mail it to us. After we receive your program interest form, we’ll send you an application, along with more details about the specific trip you signed up for. If you are joining us as part of a group, skip this step.

2—Turn in your application and deposit.

The deposit is half of the total trip cost. If you are requesting a scholarship, please include a $25 application fee along with your scholarship request and essay.

3—Complete your pre-trip requirements.

To prepare for your trip, you’ll need to complete your community service, prepare an educational project, and earn money to pay for your trip. Record how you’ve completed these on your pre-trip documentation sheets.

4—Get ready for your trip.

Turn in your final payment and pre-trip documentation sheets, review the equipment list, and ask any remaining questions. Trips fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Turn in your interest form and application in a timely manner to ensure you get your first choice. Your spot is reserved when we receive your completed application and trip deposit. Enrollment is limited.
